The success story of the collaboration between Holtmann+ and NürnbergMesse began in 2008/2009, when NürnbergMesse was looking for an investment in an internationally active exhibition stand construction company.
After a comprehensive market screening, it turned to Claus Holtmann.
At the time, Holtmann was equally owned by cousins Jürgen and Claus Holtmann. After intensive negotiations, NürnbergMesse finally acquired Jürgen Holtmann's 50% share and became an equal shareholder on January 1, 2010.
Shortly before this, the industry was surprised by a significant development: Holtmann+ became a service partner of NürnbergMesse. This laid the foundation for a long-term collaboration that has now lasted for 15 years.
Partnership with shared values and visions
To mark its 60th anniversary, Holtmann+ gave itself a special gift in 2010: a strategic partnership with NürnbergMesse. This decision fitted seamlessly into NürnbergMesse's Strategy 2020, which envisaged expansion into new business areas.
“Our customers expect a holistic approach. This includes the right exhibition concepts, the right exhibition presentation and the corresponding services,” said Bernd A. Diederichs, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse at the time, explaining the motivation behind the partnership.
The common goal: growth at the Langenhagen and Nuremberg locations with innovative individual stand constructions and creative system solutions.
Claus Holtmann emphasized the special basis of the collaboration: “We have known each other personally for more than two years now and have found that we not only share the same goals, but also the same values. That is the best basis for a successful future together.”
The connection between NürnbergMesse and Holtmann+ was initiated by Fair Relations GmbH. More stability and growth for customers and partners.For existing customers, this partnership means an even more stable position for Holtmann+ as a service provider. It also opens up growth potential both at the Nuremberg site and in NürnbergMesse's international subsidiaries in North America, Brazil, China and Italy.
“In addition to economic growth, the focus is on offering our customers not only the right stand space, but also the entire trade fair presentation, thus significantly expanding our service portfolio,” says Claus Holtmann.
Rolf Keller, then a member of the NürnbergMesse Management Board, emphasizes the added value of the partnership: “Holtmann+ is the ideal partner because they can both stage individual brand presentations and implement economical system stand solutions. Our customers benefit from this diversity.”
Holtmann+ has been one of three official service partners for stand construction at the Nuremberg exhibition venue since April 2009 - a tried and tested model that will continue in the future to keep competition at the exhibition center healthy.
With a strong, value-based partnership and a clear growth strategy, Holtmann+ and NürnbergMesse have been looking to the future of the exhibition industry together since 2010.
